- 250 g flour
- 250 g sugar
- 6 eggs
- 250 g butter
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tsp baking powder heeped(12g)
Do not turn off the oven after taking out your cake as you will need to bake the cake rusk pieces again.
You may add yellow food color into your batter to give your cake rusk bright yellow color.

Procedure of Cake Rusk Recipe
- Pre heat oven at 250ºC to make Cake Rusk.
- Mix baking powder in flour and sift well and set aside.
- Take eggs in a bowl and beat well till foam appears.
- In a separate bowl take sugar, butter and mix well, first with fork then beat with an electric beater very well.
- Now put this butter sugar mixture into the eggs in 2-3 sessions and keep beating.
- Then add vanilla essence, flour and baking powder mixture in 4-5 sessions through a table spoon.
- Beat well.
- Now take a greased cake mold and pour this batter into it.
- Put this cake mold into an oven and reduce its temperature from 250ºC to 200ºC
after putting mold inside the oven.
- Bake till cake gets done or for almost 30-45 minutes.
- When done cool ckae into the room temperature and take it out from the mold.
- Cut Cake into the shape of cake rusk.
- Spread the pieces into the cookie sheets or baking tray.
- Again bake these pieces for 10-15 minutes or when it changes its color into golden brown.
