  • 5 ounces butter
  • 2-1/2 ounces brown sugar
  • 2-1/2 ounces caster sugar
  • 7 ounces self rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp almond essence
  • 1/4 cup mix chopped nuts almond,pistachio, casio nuts or as you like
  • 1/4 cup mix dried fruits raisins, black currents, or as you like

Procedure of Fruit Cupcakes

  1. Put paper cups in the cupcakes tray and set aside.
  2. In a bowl add butter, brown sugar, self rising flour, eggs, almond essence and beat
    till it becomes frothy and creamy.
  3. Now add chopped nuts and dried fruits and mix well.
  4. Pour this batter in the paper cups and bake in a pre-heated oven on 180ºC
    for 5-10 minutes or till done.
  5. Insert tooth pick inside the fruit cupcakes if it comes out dry that means its ready.
  6. When cool served with tea or coffee or as you like.
